CTC BOARD
The CTC Board is the supreme policy-making body of Chasefu Theological College.
BOARD COMPOSITION
The board of Chasefu Theological College is composed of the following individuals:

Chasefu Theological College Board Roles
The CTC Board has the following roles:
- Governance and Administration: The Board is responsible for the governance, control, and administration of Chasefu Theological College in accordance with the provisions of the Higher Education Act.
- Curriculum Approval: The Board approves the content of the teaching material and curriculums of the College. The areas of study cover a range of subjects, including Bibliology, Ecclesiology, Dogmatology, Diaconology, Missiology, and Humanities or Technical Skills.
- Quality Assurance: The Board ensures proper quality assurance and standards of training at the College. This includes determining the number of academic staff required for effective teaching, approving curricula, and appointing external examiners, if necessary.
- Staff Selection: The Board is responsible for the selection of academic staff and provides advice to respective churches on matters related to the induction and disjunction of staff members.
- Discipline: The Board oversees the discipline among academic staff and students at the College.
- Financial Management: The Board is responsible for the financial affairs of the College, including fund-raising, financial planning, supervision, and the development of the College infrastructure.
- Reporting: The Board submits annual reports to relevant authorities of participating churches through the College Annual Reports. In certain cases, the Board members may also be mandated to report to their respective constituencies on specific issues.
Management
The management of the College is responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall functioning of Chasefu Theological College. The management team consists of the following key roles:
1. CTC Principal (Full Time) – Rev. Barnet Muwowo: The Principal is the head of the College and is responsible for providing visionary leadership, overseeing academic programs, and ensuring the overall growth and development of the College.
2. CTC Vice Principal (Part Time) – Rev. Lovemore Nyirenda: The Vice Principal supports the Principal in their responsibilities and takes on additional duties as assigned. This role assists in coordinating various activities and contributing to the strategic direction of the College.
3. Dean of Academic Affairs (Part Time) – Rev. Justine Zimba: The Dean of Academic Affairs is responsible for the oversight and management of the academic programs at the College. This includes curriculum development, faculty coordination, student evaluations, and ensuring academic quality.
4. Dean of Students (Part Time) – Rev. Mapopa Nyirongo: The Dean of Students is responsible for the welfare and development of the students. This role includes managing student services, student discipline, counseling, and fostering a positive learning environment.
5. Chief Librarian (Part Time) – Rev. Lazarous Chilenje: The Chief Librarian manages the College’s library resources, ensuring access to relevant academic materials for both faculty and students. This role involves cataloging, organizing, and maintaining the library collection, as well as providing research support to the College community.
6. CTC Financial Administrator (Part Time) – Mr. Kuffa Tembo: The Financial Administrator is responsible for the financial management and budgeting of the College. This includes monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, managing contracts and grants, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Collectively, the management team works collaboratively to ensure the smooth operations of Chasefu Theological College, fostering an environment conducive to learning, growth, and the fulfillment of the College’s mission and objectives.
