Chasefu University College provides admissions information and access to its application systems through its official Admissions page. While the university emphasizes the online application portal, applicants may look for a downloadable PDF form when needed for offline submission.

FIRST-YEAR STUDENT APPLICATION

Step 1: Select Your Program
Explore the full range of programs offered under the School of Theology, from entry-level certificates to advanced degree studies. Review program details carefully to ensure alignment with your academic and vocational goals.

Step 2: Prepare Required Documentation
Applicants are expected to provide the following documents (requirements may vary by program):

  • Certified copies of academic certificates
  • National ID or valid passport

Step 3: Complete the Application Form
Applicants have two options:

  • Online Submission: Visit the Online Application Portal and complete all required fields accurately.
  • PDF Submission: Download the official soft copy PDF application form, fill it in electronically or by hand, and submit via email. Ensure that all required documents are scanned and attached to your email submission.

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
The application fee is ZMW 150 and must be paid prior to submitting your application form. Applicants are required to attach proof of payment when submitting their application.

  • Online Applications: Upload proof of payment directly within the Online Application Portal.
  • PDF/Email Submissions: Ensure that proof of payment is scanned and attached to your email together with the completed application form and all required documentation.

Important: Applications submitted without proof of payment will not be processed.

Step 5: Await Admission Decision
Once your application and supporting documents have been received, the Admissions Office will review your submission. The admission decision will be communicated promptly through the contact details you provided.

STUDENT TRANSFER

Students transferring from other accredited theological institutions may apply for advanced standing.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Must provide official transcripts from previous institution(s)
  2. Courses must match the academic standards of Chasefu University College
  3. Only courses with satisfactory grades will be considered for transfer

How to Apply as a Transfer Student

  1. Complete the online application, indicating your transfer status.
  2. Upload certified academic transcripts.
  3. Provide course outlines if requested (to assess equivalency).
  4. Wait for the Admissions Office to evaluate your credit transfer.

CREDIT TRANSFER

Eligible Programs for Credit Transfer
Students may apply to transfer credits toward the following programs:

  1. Bachelor of Theology
  2. Diploma in Theology
  3. Certificate in Theology
  4. Certificate in Christian Mission

Credit Transfer Evaluation Criteria
All transferred credits are subject to a formal evaluation process based on:

  1. Course relevance to the chosen program
  2. Academic load and content equivalence
  3. Grade attained (minimum of 65% or above)
  4. Accreditation status of the sending institution

Transfer Credit Limit
In accordance with the Higher Education Authority (HEA) Standards, Chasefu University College accepts up to 50% of program credits through transfer, subject to compatibility with the chosen program.
